Business Economist / Tax Consultant as
Financial Controller
In your new position, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Independently taking over the areas of financial, fixed asset, debtor and creditor accounting
- Reconciliation of accounts and payroll accounting
- Supporting payroll accounting
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Support with annual financial statements/audit (HGB and IFRS)
- Establishment and further development of Controlling and Liquidity Management
- Implementation of the dunning process
- Coordination of payment transactions
- Tax reporting
- Master data maintenance and invoice verification
- Determination of accruals and deferrals
Your profile:
- Completed university degree (ideally with a focus on Finance) or vocational training (ideally as Tax Consultant)
- Relevant professional experience is an advantage
- DATEV skills are required, experience in using Landwehr L1 is a plus
- Thorough knowledge of the German social security system and payroll tax law is desirable
- Confident handling of MS Office applications (especially Excel)
- Excellent German language skills (business fluent or native speaker) and good English language skills – both written and spoken is required
- You have an independent, goal-oriented and organized work ethic as well as a pronounced affinity for numbers
