Contracts Assistant

We are looking for a Contracts Assistant to manage employment and commercial contracts for the six European countries managed by the UK office based in London.

Role description

In the company’s primary external business focus towards TCP’s contractors, agencies and clients our Legal Department has a central role in providing technical legal support. You will be responsible for managing client, agency and employee contracts for the six European countries managed by the UK office. Your role will be to handle the day-to-day management and issuing of contracts with our clients, agencies and contractors to ensure they are compliant with mandatory local employment law. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to prioritise your work-load and manage expectations is essential. Reporting to the Head of Legal and working closely with the Business Development and Processing teams you will need to have excellent organizational skills along with an empathy for all areas of the business and procedures.

You will work in cross-company legal and compliance team advising the business on legal issues and be involved in various projects to further develop and strengthen the legal and compliance aspects of the business. By combining your theoretical knowledge and practical experience you know how to provide technical, legal expertise in a successful way.

You should be able to demonstrate a strong interest in labour law and will keep up with developments in your profession and will possess a strong understanding of what is required by all parties (internal and external) and have the ability to make suggestions for possible improvements. 


You will have a legal background and be familiar with commercial and employment contracts and have good commercial understanding. You are business focused and trustworthy to customers. A team worker, self-confident, with strong communicative skills and the ability to build strategic partnerships. You are client focused, flexible, loyal and have a personal approach with a good sense of humour. You are naturally driven to deliver expert service effectively under pressure.
