Meet the TCP team! BDE – Ben Paulo.


benAbout a year ago Ben started at TCP Solutions as a Business Development Executive. From the head office in London, he is actively looking for new ways to help both existing and new customers.

“TCP Solutions has been active in the European market for about 20 years and now has a new vision and strategy for the future. We want to grow further and that means that new customers need to be identified and nurtured, resulting in revenue enhancement, brand awareness and new strategic relationships. Our customer segmentation includes end clients (SME’s to FTSE100), to individual contractors and recruitment agencies, and my mission at TCP is to investigate and serve the needs of such existing customers, research and introduce our services to new ones and in the end establish long term relationships with mutual benefits for all parties involved.

A typical day at TCP does not exist according to Ben. “All my tasks are determined by what the customers need on that particular day, so it never gets boring. Every day I nurture the relationship with existing customers and convert new ones by keeping a close eye on the markets and looking for problems where we can offer solutions. I work on inbound and outbound calls, with deep customer understanding as the epicenter of all communications.”

For Ben it is important that there is a personal bond between the company and the customers.

“I am very pleased that this is also part of TCP’s company culture. It has a personal touch starting with its employees and then with customers. I also find the international approach of TCP very interesting, as that way I also get to know the business structures of other countries! “

Before joining TCP, Ben was working in Business Development at a large construction company. The company was reinvesting its profits to create new sources of revenue and Ben was active in helping establish new partnerships with private and government sector entities. “I had a similar job, which entailed building and nurturing new relationships that resulted in revenue enhancement.  This company was active in building roads, bridges and buildings in Angola and it had a varied scope of customer segments”.

Outside of work, Ben plunges into his music. “I compose my own music. For me it is an outlet. It helps me to give my emotions a place. I process it in a song. “
