We are now members of APSCo
We are pleased to announce that we are now members of APSCo (The Association of Professional Staffing Companies).
APSCo support, promote, and differentiate the provision of top-quality recruitment services in the professional staffing sector. The APSCo badge is recognised by candidates and employers as the differencing quality mark in professional talent acquisition.
APSCo History
APSCo (The Association of Professional Staffing Companies) has represented professional recruiters since 1999. It was originally formed as ATSCo (The Association of technology Staffing Companies) to provide a voice for recruitment firms in the IT sector. After important lobbying success APSCo was formed in 2009, the only membership body dedicated to professional staffing.
Due to its offering of quality services and international reach, it is now a recognised badge of quality for clients and candidates with international profiles. APSCo is growing rapidly and it now has separate operations in Germany, Singapore, Australia and UK.
What APSCo does
Legal Services
The recruitment sector is constantly facing new legislation rules. APSCo offers a wide array of legal resources, developed by experts, to ensure members are kept up to date with UK regulations and compliance best practice, and reduce their exposure to business and financial risk.
Political
All APSCo members are emailed a political monitor weekly, which updates members with an analysis of key political developments that affect the professional recruitment sector.
Events
The APSCo events programme offers members a wide range of recruitment and industry-specific meetings and events to keep up to date with trends and developments and engage with external stakeholders and clients in the recruitment sector. APSCo also offer sector specific events, webinars and forums.
As a trusted partner, we will organise and host talks as well as attend them, which will be beneficial for our clients, fellow members and ourselves.
Expansion to Germany and Asia
Over the past decade, Asian markets have become an attractive destination for recruitment firms seeking overseas expansion. In 2013, following a series of trade delegations to the area, APSCo established a permanent office in Singapore, and created a separate membership organisation APSCo Asia to support growth in the area.
In 2015 APSCo extended its international reach and launched in Germany. The decision to expand into Germany was promoted by demand from members who were moving into the area. APSCo created a local German Trade Association for professional staffing firms active in Germany while providing bi-lingual support and events throughout Germany. The services offered will be similar to other markets but provided with local expertise and experience.
Benefits of being an APSCo member
There are many benefits for us now that we are APSCo members, including access to a range of events, services, and benefits, particularly networking opportunities across the industry. As a trusted partner, the ability to host talks ourselves as well as attend them will be beneficial to us as a business, as well as for our clients and fellow members who will benefit from our up to date industry knowledge.
APSCo Outsource:
Recently APSCo launched APSCo OutSource. The outsourcing market has evolved exponentially over the last decade to become a highly sophisticated sector in its own right – a sector that is distinct from staffing, but, until now, had no distinct trade body representation.
Being part of the People 2.0 group, we have the largest global footprint in the industry and supply EOR and AOR services for the talent procurement sector globally. APSCo Global (UK, Germany, Asia and Australia) and People 2.0 are a great fit as we have a strong presents in the same regions.
